About Southeast Master Gardeners Association
We are a nonprofit, volunteer organization created to organize Master Gardeners in Southeast Alaska who function as a volunteer arm of the UAF Cooperative Extension Service. We provide educational opportunities for the community to learn about gardening in our unique environment including brown bag presentations, garden tours and gardening tips.
Each year our organization provides scholarships to Southeast Alaska high school graduates pursuing their education in horticulture or other related fields.

The SEAKMG is a membership organization run by a volunteer board of directors. Our members include Alaska gardeners who have completed the UAF Cooperative Extension Service's Master Gardener Program and are interested in spreading gardening education throughout their community. Our organization is run in cooperation with the Cooperative Extension Service and the Juneau Agent.
